Get some baby oil and generously apply to the babies scalp. Leave it on the scalp for 30 min to an hour so the scalp absorbs the oil. Take a very soft baby brush and very gently brush the babies head and all the dead skin should just sluff right off. Then wash the babies hair to remove any excessive oil. But make for sure use a generous amount of baby oil. This worked wonders on both my kids. How do i get ride of cradel cap in babys hair?
a soft bristle tooth brush and mineral oil, its gentle -I would not peel if it does not loosen with the brush. How do i get ride of cradel cap in babys hair?
coat scalp with baby oil, leave on overnite, next morning rub off briskly with warm wet washcloth.
massage baby oil into their hair before they go to sleep
Use a small amount of Vaseline or baby lotion. It won't hurt and this will keep the scalp moist. Cradle cap only lasts for a few months usually. If after a couple of weeks of applying Vaseline or lotion, your baby still has a lot of cradle cap, ask your pediatrician. They have prescription medications you can use. Good luck and congratulations on your baby.
If you have the little scrubby they gave you at the hospital made for cleaning your hands. That thing works great. And don't listen to all those old biddies who say ';don't wash the baby so much.'; Lotions and oils just prolong craddle cap. I'ts dead skin and just needs to be exfoliated.Put lotion on their body not in their hair, conditoner is what you use when your scalp in dry. If your baby is anything like my boy he/she probably smells like a man by now, that smell is the dead skin it will go away once you remove the craddle cap. Wash, brush and lightly peel it off with your fingernails. Baby will be very irritated, but not hurt, so do it quick, It took me less than an hour to remove my son's. Who knew? My sister told me babies with alot of hair usualy get it. and hey even though I was a 3 time mom, that boy was the only one with hair.
PS once it's gone it won't come back. That is unless you listen to old biddies. Good Luck.
I used both the treatment from the French baby line Mustela and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I would brush gently her scalp then apply before bed. The Olive Oil actually worked much better.
Use head %26amp; shoulders or selsun blue
Just before your baby's bath put baby oil in his/her hair. Comb it through and then wash it out. I did this about 5 times and it was gone. It gets better and better each time.
