Ok so i recently accidentaly updated my AIM to 6.8 the newest version and i hate it so much. and i tried to upload 6.5 or 6.0 and when i do it works but when i go to use AIM it just goes back to 6.8 and i cant stand it does anyone know what i can do???

Uninstall aim. Then go to www.oldversion.com and download the old version.How do i get ride of AIM 6.8 and go back to 6.0 or 6.5?
I'm having the same problem, only I want the AIM triton...
I went to oldversion.com and it does download it, but once you sign on, it signs you off automatically, saying that you need a mandatory update...we're stuck with the new aim!!! but what makes it go quicker is going to your settings and making sure you don't get that annoying pop-up of AOL.com as soon as you sign on. =] if you find a way, let me know
