With the surge of ';insert cards'; in the early 90's, interest in ';regular'; baseball cards (except for the really big stars and rare cards) took a nosedive. Beckett still publishes a card guide but it is difficult to find buyers or traders anymore. It's actually a shame that the baseball card manufacturers allowed their industry to turn from a great hobby to a basic lottery.
