How to get ride of fruit flies?

recently, I've notice there are more and more fruit flies in my house, I tried to let most of them go, but now it's getting to the point where I really want to slap them and kill them, I don't want to kill them, I just want to get rid of them fast without killing them, How to get ride of fruit flies?
Put a skinned peach in the bottom of a trash can with a trash bag inside. Wait awhile. Carefully close the top of the trash bag without disturbing the flies on the peach. Seal it closed and twist tie it and put it out in the trash. You may need to do this more than once if you have a lot of flies. Then watch out for fresh fruit in the house. Any bruises or soft spots will attract flies and you could bring some fly eggs home if you acquire damaged fruit.How to get ride of fruit flies?
Make sure you don't have overly ripe fruit in the house to attract the fruit flies...otherwise use a natural detterent in a pot plant such as a mint plant.
i hate killing things as well, but fruit flies aren't something that are gonna go away on their own.





i guess you could try sucking them up with the vacuum cleaner and then emptying it outside.
You can get rid of what ever is attracting them...but its hard to get rid of all of them. Try sitting out a cheap glass of red wine...they love it and will at least die happy!
Clean out your garbage disposal and don't put things in the kitchen trash that decays.
get rid of the offending fruit and or veggies that are causing the problem
