There are several ways to get rid of blackheads.





Method 1


Use Neutrogena Clear Pore Wash/Mask. It has clay and benzoyl peroxide to absorb excess oil, clear away old skin cells and kill bacteria. It works best as a mask - just apply where needed once or twice a week.

After washing your face at night, dampen a cotton pad w/ hydrogen peroxide %26amp; swipe it over your nose. Hydrogen peroxide will bleach the blackheads %26amp; kill the bacteria that cause them.





If you have sensitive skin, leave the hydrogen peroxide on for 5 minutes %26amp; rinse it off.





Method 4


Aspirin mask: Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. The only thing I have found reduces them at all is gentle, repeated exfoliation. I do it with a home microdermabrasion kit. I've tried squeezing but it is one pore at a time and a temporary fix, and the irritation it causes makes them come back faster...





I doubt that it's anything about the microdermabrasion kit that is making the difference over a regular exfoliating scrub, except that it is easier to scrub the nose very thoroughly without irritating it, and to reach all the pores, because the granules are so very fine in the microdermabrasion cream and you use a vibrating pad to rub it on. Rather than rubbing large granules with your fingers, in a lot of liquid.





I've found that using a plain scrub works somewhat too, but it's easier and more effective to use the microdermabrasion stuff every few days -- I get faster, better results on blackheads all over my face. They're not completely gone, but it is noticeably better.

my bf has lots on his nose, as he does hobby work with cars [oil, grease].. and doesn't wash his face.

It sounds bad but the clear packing tape will clean out you nose pores don't leave it on long just press down and pull off its gross to see the results on the sticky side

Use a good facial cleaning product that will not dry out your skin.





If it's a very serious problem, talk to your doctor about seeing a dermatologist.





Otherwise, use the currently available products. I think there is something called Bio-Pore (maybe not that name) that is a strip you wet and apply to your nose. It acts like really sticky tape and it gets into the pores and will pull out the black heads and their roots when you peel it off.
Well, what I tried was those Biore strips. BUT to keep them from reappearing. When you are about to wash you're face, steam you're face over the sink full of hot water, throw a towel over you're head to keep the steam in. Then wash you're face with a scrubbing face wash, then whenever you are finished washing you're face rinse it with COLD water. This helps the pores close back up, so dirt cant get back in immediantly after to wash. I hope this helps!
Boil some water, pour it into a wide but shallow bowl, then get a towel, place your head over the water, (steam should rise) and place the towel over your head to trap the steam. I've done this and it works very well. For better results, get some sort of exfoliating scrub, if you cant, use sand, and scrub your face afterwards, and then wash and pat dry. Good Luck.

uhg. im there with yu! ok something that actually GETS RID of black heads is Clean%26amp;Clear Black head clearing scrub. it doesnt make the black heads go away right then and there but in like 2 days they will be almost completely gone. but i get a facial like every 3 months.... n lol. i think its SO funny when people think getting a facial is putting on like that green facial stuff and then thats it... and its relaxing n lol. its just funny. getting a facial is SO PAINFUL. wut the facial person does is she pops ur pimples, then squeezes out ur black heads n has a whole series of different lotions and products to put on your face.





to get black heads out is... you squeeze them out. its kinda painful but its worth it.

a good scrub or a visit to the dermatologist. both cost money, but if you want results, i'd go with what works.
Go to a drug store , and talk to the pharmacist. That would be their specialty, and pharmacists are SO smart. You'll see. :)
