Is it time to get ride of DC's fat dog's Life styles that we support ?

While we commom people Pay the bills by having two jobs etc etc I am speaking of all elected key word elected Officials. What Good are they ?Is it time to get ride of DC's fat dog's Life styles that we support ?
Yes, we should.





And not just the DC government. All facets of our government are bloated. And we pay them for life, with nearly free healthcare. Do you have it that good?





I think that no TAXPAYER paid employee should have better than the population AVERAGE pay and benefits for their jobs. The pensions %26amp; healthcare will bankrupt us.





We can't afford to fix a broken tooth, or take a paycheck, but pay tens of thousands of dollars in business taxes.





But I also believe it is hopeless. The vast majority of American people choose to suffer in silence and do nothing to change the way things are. Scary, isn't it.Is it time to get ride of DC's fat dog's Life styles that we support ?
I am very sick and tired of Congress giving themselves big fat raises every two years or so. We can't attract public school teachers to the classrooms because the pay is so low, but they can sure up their salaries a few thousand. Let's not forget that they also get exemplary health care for the rest of their lives.
Yes it is past time.





Ben Franklin said of congress, ';They are of the People, and return again to mix with the People, having no more durable preeminence than the different Grains of Sand in an Hourglass. Such an Assembly cannot easily become dangerous to Liberty. They are the Servants of the People, sent together to do the People's Business, and promote the public Welfare; their Powers must be sufficient, or their Duties cannot be performed. They have no profitable Appointments, but a mere Payment of daily Wages, such as are scarcely equivalent to their Expences; so that, having no Chance for great Places, and enormous Salaries or Pensions, as in some Countries, there is no triguing or bribing for Elections';





If you will note, what is going on today does not remotely resemble what Franklin had in mind. The election process has failed once congress realized it could buy your vote with money it took from you. Americas laziness and ignorance has deepened and exacerbated this mess.





Until we have citizens in congress rather than royalty will only be subjects of congress, not represented by them. We have to have term limits on them and they will refuse to even discuss it. To get there we have but three choices, vote them out which means often voting for people from parties we do not agree with, demand a constitutional convention which of course congress will refuse, which of course would cause Third Option a violent revolution.





AMericans are sick of congress, their popularity is lower than lawyers, used car salesmen and even the president, yet they merrily go about their business of getting rich on our nickel.





There has to be a way to stop them.
I don't know what good they are, but I do know they work very hard. Most have 12-hour days or more, with lots of travel, and a good deal of weekend and night work as well.
It's because we do not have enough people like RON PAUL aka DR. NO in office. If you don't know/haven't heard of him, please look him up and check his voting record. He is one GOOD AMERICAN!!!! And he'd get my vote for Prez any day of the week.
