using too much heat will make your hair crazy static, try not to use the hairdryer or straighters as much, if you dont do this, spray some friss ease heat protecter into your hair when its wet even if your not going to put heat on it, i find this helps me, also dont brush it as much

There is this stuff you can buy called Static Guard. You can get it at Wal-Mart in the laundry aisle or the cleaning supplies aisle. It is an aerosol spray that helps eliminate static on clothes or your hair. Some people rub a dryer sheet on their hair. My stylist also says you can do this.
I know what you mean... well my friend told me this thing that really works. You spray some hairspray on a paddle brush and brush your hair. It keeps your hair together but doesn't make it greasy. Also use sirum after the shower before you dry your hair. hope it helps x x x
Put a bit of moisturizer onto your hands and run your hands through your hair, try not to get it in blobs. Or use some water to neutralize the static.
rub a TINNYYYY bit of Vaseline through your fingers and put it through your hair. I mean tiny though as your hair will be so greasy otherwise

Try spraying a bit of hairspray onto your hairbrush before brushing it. That helps me.

i use a non static spray but if that fails i gel it
